Key User Features:Available to all Platform Users

Reporting Enhancements
Charts are enhanced to include more attractive 3D charting options, custom size definition and the ability to chart additional values on one graphic.
Master-Detail relationship
A Master-Detail relationship locks two objects together, so that every record in a Detail Object is associated with a record in a Master Object. This custom association between two objects can be used in these kinds of applications:
  • Invoices, where items in an order are records of the Master Object, and pricing or discounts are records in the Detail Object
  • Timesheets, where employees are records of the Master Object, and hours worked are records in the Detail Object
Rollup Summary Fields
Rollup Summary Fields provide quick access to complex metrics in large databases. The calculations are done in the background, on a schedule specified when the field is created. Includes such calculations as: Record Count, Sum, Average, and Max/Min operations.
Lookup using Custom Definitions
Customize Lookup Windows by using existing Views, Reports, a custom Page or our standard Lookup field. If you’re using views or reports as the basis for lookup selections, all pre-defined filters and sorting are included -- even color coding. In addition, you can add filters to the window (for example, to remove entries that have certain blank field values). Learn more: Lookup using Custom Definitions

Partner Features

These features are available to Service Providers

Billing Control
Set up package pricing plans and platform configurations for your tenants. Specify unique pricing plans and options, tiers for volume based pricing, and charges for individual services and accessories. All billing is handled by the LongJump Platform via credit card transactions from your clients and all revenue will be deposited into your bank account directly. If you are an existing MSP, contact us to schedule your move into the new billing system. New partners should sign up with 3Delta Systems (http://www.3dsi.com) for a payment gateway account.
Catalog Management
Choose the catalog offered by your service provider or create a custom catalog built from Packages you create. Optionally, personalize the site's look and feel, or allow your tenants to publish into your catalog.
New Tenant Management System
Includes all the current support functions available to MSPs, enhanced to be the central location for setting up accounts, establishing billing plans, and coordinating packages for release into the catalog.

Developer Features

These features are available to select tenants, enabled by the Service Provider

Dynamic Sites
The Sites feature enables designers and web developers to build and deploy public web sites and web-based applications using the LongJump Platform. These Dynamic Sites leverage the backend data and content that reside within a user account. Dynamic Sites eliminate the need for a specific web server or database and instead leverage the robust administration and presentation capabilities of the LongJump Platform, as well as its relational database.
REST API Enhancement
The REST API (Representational state transfer) API is an HTTP interface between the LongJump Platform and third-party applications. With the REST API, XML files can be exchanged over HTTP to integrate enterprise applications with the platform. For all elements that can be accessed via the UI (User Interface), the REST API exposes all objects, files, actions and transactions for integration with external (third-party) enterprise applications.
Tenant Data Sharing
Enable tenant-to-tenant data sharing using Java API calls from one tenant to another. This “Peer to Peer” connection can offer read-write access to another tenant with a specially-defined user and role. To eliminate issues with syncing, the connection to the sharing tenant’s data is live. The front-end interface is defined using Java server pages.

Installed Platform Features

These features are available to users with the self-hosted Installable Version

Global Classes, Pages and Resources
Provides the ability to build Global-Level Global Classes, Pages and Resources, for distribution to any tenant
Community Tenancy
The Community Tenancy feature can be used by ISVs to create community applications (like Support Portal, Answers, Ideas and Social Networking). The Community provides a space where all Users in all the tenancies (under a single ISV) can share knowledge and collaborate, with the benefit of single sign-on capability.
Multiple Service Domain Support for ISVs and MSPs
Provides the ability for ISVs to configure the primary service and additional service domains. MSPs can choose from ISV-provided options. Learn more: ISV Service Provider Settings
