Create a new Project to manage.
- What You Need

- Install the Project Management application, which contains the PROJECT object.
To create a new project:
- Click the Projects tab
- Click the [New Project] button
- Complete the fields in the Project Information section
- Project Name
- Name of the Project
- Type
- Choose either Internal or External (clients)
- Description
- Description of the Project
- Estimated Start Date
- Date you expect the project to start
- Estimated End Date
- Date you expect the project to end
- Project Status
- Choose an option from the picklist
- Priority
- Choose an option from the picklist
- Description
- Project Description
- Click [Save] to save the new project, or click [Save & New] to save this project and create a new one.
A confirmation message appears on the Project details page, which includes the information you added, as well as calculated fields and Related Information.
